Two day Monument Valley tour

It is hard to believe that you can see so many sights and go to so many places, without being rushed, as you can on this two day Monument Valley trip.    Like all of our tours, this is a smaller group tour.

You leave Las Vegas on the first day and travel to Zion National Park, Utah's most popular National Park.  There is the opportunity to go horseback riding in Zion.  After touring Zion you will travel to Bryce Canyon, which will take your breath away!  There will be time to go to all the main vantage points overlooking the hoodoos, and stroll around the rim.

The drive to Lake Powell and Page is picturesque, and passes through the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.  The night is spent in Page, at the Best Western Lake Powell.

The following day your guide will lead a hike to Horseshoe Bend, a spectacular overlook of the Colorado River seen through the canyon walls far below.  From there you will be taken to the tiny Page airport, for a flight to Monument Valley.  There are spectacular views over Lake Powell below.  After landing at the even smaller Monument Valley air field, you will head out for an off road tour of Monument Valley, led by a Navajo guide.

Climbing back into the plane, you will fly to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and after an air tour of the Canyon, you will land.  Your guide will meet up with you again, and take you for a ground tour of the canyon.

The route back to Vegas goes over Hoover Dam, unless you are in a mini bus.  Buses are no longer allowed over the dam wall, for security reasons.

This tour can be seen in a lot more detail here.  Please order here.
